Hosted by the Consulate General of Japan in New York, we organized a pairing event titled "Experience Shochu," showcasing modern and classic shochu alongside carefully curated meals (online and live-streamed).
The culinary aspect, including food and cocktails, was handled by Brooklyn's Rule of Thirds. In a vibrant intersection of cultures, the izakaya-style menu from Rule of Thirds was paired with a variety of shochu and cocktails, allowing local industry professionals to experience the evolving world of shochu.
